Currently this is not possible but we have already added this in EasySocial 3.3. We do not have the ETA on this release yet

Is it possible to set the group notifications set to "Summarized and sent Daily" by default for a user?
When people get added to a group they are turned off by so many notifications.

It is better to ease them into a once a day email and they can change if they choose.

Yes this is important UX improvments and good you adress this...people get to much email and notifications and want to control limit these

You should also allow us to set the default interval (daily, weekly or montly).

And I deduce that the next version of EasySocial will not be major, because 3.3.
But I hope our most popular feature requests will be heard

We are taking a temporary break from major release in EasySocial because many customers were complaining about too much changes in terms of template files.

We have really exciting news coming up soon

I'm surprised to learn that some users don't want to see major new features
Just see the number of Features Requests for EasySocial.

The latest version 3.2.1 was released a year ago in November 2019, and has not brought any significant changes.
I expected to discover EasySocial 4 soon...

But I have no doubt that EasySocial 3.3 will bring nice features, including those that many of us express here :

There will be a release of 3.3 but it will not consist of major overhaul The next major overhaul would be 4.x
