I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have just tested this with a closed group locally and it works out fine. Not too sure how to reproduce this. Please advise. I am testing this by joining a "Closed" group.

Alright Mark, I tested it again with a closed grup, here is steps;

1. step
1- A request sended by one of test user
2- Notification arrived to me (via toolbar notification)
3- A clicked on notifcation item on notification bar
4-it routed me to dasborad

2.Step
1-I accepted join request as grup admin
2- After that I opened My test user page and saw the request accepted
3-I click on notification link
4- It also routed me to dasboard again

So both two side there are the same problem

Alright we can test it on my web site, please send a request to Join Deneme Group, You can do it by click on Cog sign on toolbar to go groups page
