Ah, now I know the issue, you mean the group widget in the sidebar still shows (0) no group yet even though the user is already a member in the group http://screencast.com/t/5dH24zTirj ?
I've replicate this issue locally, seems there is a bug regarding this. I've logged this issue in our issue tracker, and our developers will take an action for this.
