May i know are you using the latest version of EasySocia 2.1.9? Anyway, in EasySocial previous version, there is an issue with the same Group / Event name get penalty when come to Google SEO where Google do not allow pages to have same meta title name. Hence we are adding the numbering during the Group / Event creation and if system detected there are same Group / Event names.

In EasySociald 2.1.9, when you are creating recurring events, all the recurring events will append with event's start date instead of numbering.
