Group Members and Group Posting

I would like for a user to be able to join a group but only to view posts. I only want a "Super User", Administrator, or moderator to be able to post in the group.

I thought there was a way to do this but I can't find it.

Hey there,

Yes, it is possible to configure this from the backend setting.

First, you have to check your existing group categories which workflow you assigned.

If that is assigned to this default 'Group Workflow', then you have to edit this 'group workflow' from your site backend > EasySocial > custom field > workflow and insert a new custom field (Posting Permission) into this group workflow.

So when the user create a new group on your site, group owner can able to decide who can able to submit new story post into their group. By default, Super User has the right for everything.

By the way, may i know how you assign your site user to moderator or administrator?
