Hi,

I created hashtags filters in an open group.

1. When a guest visitor is viewing the group, he can see the hashtags filter I created for it, but when it is a registered user, then they are missing, but he can his own.

Is this normal?

It thought that only the admin could create the filters so he can make sure filters related to the groups are created.

2. also, I think this is a bug; when a guess user go over a created filter, the "edit" icon appear.

I added the link in the site details bellow.

Thanks
Hi Aikigi,

Regard for you issue i’ve check for hashtag filter in group by right guest can’t see hashtag that been create by admin and for edit icon also only register or admin that icon will appear. i found it was a bug in our code.

To fix this you can go to this file /components/com_easysocial/views/groups/view.html.php and replace it with this new file below

Hello,

Thanks for the fix. Now I have a question about the workflow of filters in groups. I need the group admin to be able to create filters that all registered users can see and use.
Ex: I have an Audition & Job opportunities group, and need to create predefined filters such #dance, #circus, #music, etc.

That way users can filter their search quickly without having to create their own filters in every group they are going... It seems that user should only be able to create filters for their own profile/dashboard, but it would be great to let admin of groups or event create filters base on what the group/event are about.

How can I do this?

Thanks
