I'm getting the error: "No theme file found for this event. You might be trying to display content in an event that do not need to display.: event/description/" when displaying an Event in a Group (attached)..thoughts?
Hi Haki Saki,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply, It seems like you are using an old version of EasySocial. Can you upgrade to the latest version and please update us back of this issue .

Regards.

I have a lot of custom edits on css files and updating always means a lot of work on my side. Is there a process you can recommend so I dont have to redo all my changes again after update?

Hey there,

It's advisable to create template overrides should you require modifications on the theme files. You can learn more about this at http://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/templating/template-overrides

So in Example #1:
To override the file /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/toolbar/default.php, you need to perform the following:

Create the toolbar folder in /templates/YOUR_JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/toolbar.
Copy the file in /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/toolbar/default.php into the folder that you just created above.

*** What if the new update has made changes to that default.php file? Most of my changes are .css changes like spacing, colors, etc.. can I just backup my files and after upgrading to a new version copy the backed-up files back to the server?

Hi Haki Saki,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Yes, u can back up your files that you have changed, before you do the templates override, and backed-up the files back to the server.

Please advise,
