If you have suggestions or features you would like to see in the discussion, then do post them in our voices platform and we will se if can include this in the future.

I am not asking for any additional features. I just want to know what the Group Discussion is meant for so I know if it is any use to me or not.

It depends on how you want to treat it as. It could be used as a forum or a question and answer section just like EasyDisucss

If I use it as a Discussion board, can I get rid of the ACCEPT ANSWER, RESOLVED, UNRESOLVED...?

Ok, so it acts more like a support forum then, where you post your question and it gets answered.
Not asking for any features, just wanted to know the intended use.
The reason I asked in the first place is JS has a similar group discussion that I have used before, and it is like a discussion forum.

It's actually the same just that with the discussions in EasySocial Groups, it also has some "EasyDiscuss DNA" like answering a question, locking a topic etc.
