Yeah, indeed! It looks like crap lol. Newlines should be preserved! However, right now we do not have any intentions of allowing "html" codes because group descriptions are used widely everywhere and it could eventually lead to more issues if it was html codes.

Here's a quick fix, download the attached file and upload it into /media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/group/description/

Hrmm Maybe someone can create a group "index" page where it would be an App on the left that would allow such HTML... *COUGH*

*cough* maybe in 1.3 the about area will be on the profile and group page without having to access another page

But will there be HTML? Probably not as there is more involved so having a Blank HTML page for people to add whatever they want it's a bad idea

Also is that description.php file modified in 1.2.16 or when I upgrade later tonight do I need to adjust that fix again?

Unfortunately I cannot promise you that it will allow HTML as we are not really a big fan of allowing users to enter their html codes on crucial parts like this. There are times where these html codes would just mess up the site (for non trusted users).

As for the fix, it will be fixed in 1.2.17 as my fix only came after the release
