Group Blog: Admin share blog post with individual user (not publish blog in stream)

Hi,

1) Within EasySocial group blog, is it possible for ES group admin to create and share a blog post with an individual member of the group? This blog post will not be published in the stream or anywhere else. Just shared with that individual user. Does this require significant code hack to accomplish the functionality? Does "share this" feature accomplish this? Refer attachment. Quick blog post with Custom option chosen under "Share" dropdown to share the blog post with individual user. In this case we just need to add more fields to the quick blog post, other than just simple text.

2) Is it possible to download a blog post - like a PDF file or something. The post may be a collection of text, images and perhaps even videos.

Hi Mark,

Appreciate your prompt response even on public holidays. Wow! I've read other threads where members have asked for "Sharing blog post privately" feature. So continuing the discussion here. Pls. refer attachment. ES dashboard has the option to create a new blog post (although basic post with text). Can that functionality be extended such that user can create a regular blog post (with different blocks etc.) and still have the option to Share -> Custom. That'll make it a private share (once we block the publish on stream and in EasyBlog etc.). Is it possible to implement this as a custom solution?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. Unfortunately it is not possible to do so as it will require a lot of modification in order to achieve this. Perhaps you can voice out your idea inside our voices page instead so that other people can vote for your ideas, http://stackideas.com/voices .
