I'm following back up on my original post here. A project that I'm working necessitates users being assigned to one of several groups or pages upon signup. I'm looking to optimize the user experience and requiring users to look through 17 different profile types to find the one that they should register under is less than ideal. Not to mention all the work to create all these profiles.

What would be ideal is if the users were automatically assigned to certain groups or pages based upon 1 or two custom fields in the registration.
