Group and event search

Hi,

After finding some trouble with the search on the toolbar, I came to the forum to look for an answer. I came across a response that said that the toolbar search was just the general joomla one for the site and that there was a group search on the group page and the same for events?

Sounds good to me...but I haven't got a group search box or event search box anywhere? The ES plugins are enabled.

If it's not a separate box and the plugins just increases the functionality of the toolbar search then something's not quite right cos if I go to my groups page and type in the word 'health' (included in the first group's title) then all I get are events in the initial list!!

Of course...this is probably due to my settings somewhere......

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

I've purged the search index and re-index again from your backend > smart search and the search result should displaying correctly now. Can you verify it for me?

Hello Paul,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Currently the search box features is for the entire easysocial search that has been indexed from smart search (including groups and events search). Unfortunately there is no specific search box only to search group related items or events related items with the current system

Ok Ezrul, I get that, that's fine.

But if I search for 'hub' in my search, even though there are 4 groups with 'hub' in the title, none of them show up...and I get a load of identical images for some reason too!!

Something just doesn't seem right!!
