Group admins dont see option to edit group settings.

Hello,

I am using 1.4.12 version and need your help understanding how group admin promotion works. From frontend, I made a group member an admin. I started seeing that member under admin tab, however the member is unable to edit group settings or do any other action that admin should be able to perform.

I know the latest version is not this but need to resolve this for now as we cant migrate to latest version due to a lot of UI change we have done in 1.4.12.

Hope you can give some pointers to be able to use the group admin feature.

Hey there,

Try download my attached file and replace into administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/group/group.php and see how it goes.

Note : Before you replace the file remember do the backup.

Uncaught TypeError: EasySocial.dialog is not a function
I am getting above error instead of the dialog box irrespective of the file you have given.. Can you tell me how to resolve this issue before I can test the changed file you have given?

1. Joomla backend access
2. FTP access
3. How to replicate this error "Uncaught TypeError: EasySocial.dialog is not a function ".
