From here (but not the back end), I get a grey screen of death which won't allow us to create any content here. We would really like to get this fixed and am looking for some direction. Thanks

Please let me know if I can provide anything else.

Hello William,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have been trying to solve your issue but it seems like there is this error

>>RokSprocket needs the RokCommon Library and Plug-in installed and enabled. The RokCommon System Plug-in needs to be before the RokSprocket System Plug-in in the Plug-in Manager

I will need phpMyAdmin access to fix this. Please advice.

Thanks!

Hello William,

I solved the RokSprocket issue so it's fine now. Also regarding the editor issue, it was because of RokBooster. I have excluded 2 more TinyMCE siles in this plugin and it is working fine now. Hope this helps.

Thanks!

I am having a problem with the website now ever since the changes were made.

If you go to the website http://www.jwinsuranceflorida.com and click around to the different URLs, you will notice that the URLs are not going to the correct page. I can click Life, Auto, ETC however it will not change accordingly.

This just started happening this morning so I was wondering might have led to that happening? Simply going to the site and browsing around will give you a good idea of the issues.

Thanks

Hello William,

Sorry for the late reply. This might have something to do with the sh404SEF. May i clear the Easyblog URLs and let it regenerate again? Please advice.

Thanks!

Hello William,

Sorry for the late reply. I checked out your site and unfortunately I do not know what has happened to your sh404SEF I check all the plugins and also the settings and things seems fine. I'm afraid you will have to contact them for help as I'm not well versed in this components so there isn't much I can do. Sorry I could not be of much help here.

Thanks!

What changes did you make to the site before this started happening? I might go ahead and try a rollback becuase I am not to sure it is just an sh404sef issue anymore.

Do you have the exact date you changed it incase I need to rollback

Did you leave the Joomla version as it was or did you upgrade it?

What was the first date you made the change to the site as I may need to roll it back worse case scenario

Hello William,

All I did was modify the settings for the RokBooster plugin. I did disable and enable back some plugins to find out which plugin is the cause of your initial issue.

Thanks!

Do you remember what plugins you changed around because the site doesn't work at all now, and I need to get it fixed for my client.,

If you could help me out with that or at least let me know what you did so I can get it working without SEF urls that would help a lot

Hello Wiliam,

Sorry for the late reply. I basically enabled and disabled all the "system" plugins (one by one) until I find out that RokBooster was causing the issue.

Thanks!

Do you know what caused all the SEF urls to go out of wack because that is the problem I am facing right now, because the site is un-navigable, and that's my major problem now because it's affecting his business.

Did the RokBooster cause that issue?

Do you know if you changed anythign related to the .htaccess file?

Hello William,

I did not edit or even access your .htaccess file. Also as far as I know RokBooster is to optimise your site's Javascript and CSS. This is a plugin from RocketTheme. Besides that I did not change any other settings in the site other than the RokBooster plugin. Perhaps you've already done this but did you try contacting sh404SEF developers, they might be able to help you out? Also did you try disabling sh404SEF and use the non SEF URLs?

Thanks!

I did contact them this morning. I am just trying to figure out what may have triggered all of the SEF urls to go out of wack and stop working. I will work on trying that now. Thanks for letting me know what you did

Did you make any changes regarding the cache, the order it was handled, etc.

Something you changed made the site totally unuseable and based on my convo w/ sh404sef he said this could be the issue... Based on this information, could you take a quick look at the changes you made and see if I possibly missed anything or if there's something I did not understand here that would fix the issue?

(sh404sef thread - http://anything-digital.com/forum/extension/sh404sef/8591-urls-gone-wild.html?p=1#p51476)

If you can't read it, he said this...

First
Hello

First go to Extensions > Plugins manager > and see if you have "System - Cache" plugin enabled, if you have it enabled make sure that its "Order:" field value is set to "LAST" then clear your joomla cache and see if your menu items start working as it should.

Rgds

Tried this and no success.

Tried this but again't didn't have too much success.

Third
Hello

You need to find a way to disable those cache on your website, because if a cache runs before sh404sef, sh404sef wont be able to make anything on a cached page, so sh404sef need to be always running before any cache on your website.

Rgds

I am not sure how to do this.

Thanks

Hello William,

Sorry for the late reply and for the inconvenience caused I have checked again on your site and base on what sh404SEF said i tried disabling the cache plugin and your site is working fine now. I'm not sure why sh404SEF did not just tell you to try disabling the cache but I've been testing your site for about 30 minutes now and things seems fine. I'm not an expert of your site though so I might miss something. So please check it out and confirm that it's working

Thanks!
