Google Maps and FourSquare work fine… I was attempting to get Google Places full functioning; however, for some reason or another the drop down list that populates after clicking “detect my location” populates an invisible list.

I thought it was a font issue; however, Google Maps works fine doing the same thing. Funny thing if you click inside the box and begin typing an address it works.

Everything populates the mapping imagery, just only Google Places not displaying the list to choose from.

Also, while messing around thinking it was a cache issue I noticed that user registration “detect my location” versus the community “detect my location” are running off to different configurations? The reason, why I ask, is because in user registration the “detect my location” remains as Google Maps, but in the backend community-side, it changes when I select between the three options.
HI there,

I thought it was a font issue; however, Google Maps works fine doing the same thing. Funny thing if you click inside the box and begin typing an address it works.

It seems that i can replicate this locally and i have created ticket internally. This fixes will be included on our next release version.

is because in user registration the “detect my location” remains as Google Maps, but in the backend community-side, it changes when I select between the three options.

By the way, during registrations, user will always use google maps instead of what you have set on your backend as it will always respect this settings http://take.ms/JRq3W on your profile types.

Please advice.
