Hi - I can't get the location/maps to load anywhere on the site (easysocial/easydiscuss/komento). Both detect my location and the address field will not render a map location. It hangs.

Admin settings are in order. I've triple checked my Google api key, and it has no restrictions. It's not my browser, as it works fine with your demo es.

May I ask for help to resolve the issue?
Hey Jo,

I have checked your site and it looks like your Google Maps app isn't configured to allow access, http://take.ms/aVswu . You need to refer to our guide here, https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/configuration/google-map-api-restriction

If you still require assistance with this, could you provide us with your Google access so that we can check on the app

Thank you Mark. Your feedback, and details in browser debugger led me to also enable the geocoding api. This seemed to help, with the map now successfully working, while creating an event. But strangely no help with using location in the activity stream box, it still hangs. Not seeing debug errors.

Hey Jo,

You can see the error message from the XHR requests as you can see here, http://take.ms/C2gAm

Ok, so I generated a new api key, with no restrictions, and enabled google places api, and it started working fine. Go figure. Thank you for your time Mark.
