Have a menu item in my main website called "Press" that links to easyblog using the {Posts} Frontpage easyblog type.

The only thing in my sitemap.xml for easyblog is this one menu item: https://www.leiengineering.com/lei-press

When I look in Google Webmaster tools, it shows Google is trying to index easyblog links that don't exist. See the attached screen shot. I see that there is an "SEO" item in the easyblog backend where you can specify not to index certain things, but I'm not sure what to disable. I do want google to index my blog, but it seems Google is finding easyblog links that don't work.
Hey Greg,

I've checked in your site, I suspect previously your site did configure to use this menu alias 'press-easyblog', that is why Google did indexed this before.

And I also realised when i manually access this link https://www.leiengineering.com/press-easyblog , it no longer can be access now.

Can you check again for those new blog post on your site and see whether Google still indexed wrong URL?

For example this newest post :
Correct URL
- https://www.leiengineering.com/lei-press/entry/when-should-a-land-owner-hire-a-land-surveyor

Wrong URL
- https://www.leiengineering.com/press-easyblog/entry/when-should-a-land-owner-hire-a-land-surveyor

I would suggest you that try remove those outdated URL from Google search console tool, you can refer on my following URL what i found on Google.

- https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals

Hope this will help.

Ok, that makes sense because my sitemap.xml was incorrect and I recently fixed it. The old sitemap had the easy-blog url in it, so it probably is an old listing. I was worried that maybe Google was still finding something on my site, but doesn't look like that is the case. I added the urls to the google url removal tool, so we'll see what happens.

Thanks!
