Hey,

I made a global search filter for radius search in a former version of ES long time ago and used that link for a long time now. In ES2 something strange is happening, because the old filter shows the distance inside the results for each member. But when I make a new global search filter, to have the ordering by last login, the distance is no longer shown inside the search results. Is there something I am doing wrong?

OLD GLOBAL SEARCH FILTER DISTANCE SEARCH RESULTS:
/community/benutzer/Filter/1-umgebungssuche

NEW GLOBAL SEARCH FILTER DISTANCE SEARCH RESULTS SORTED BY LAST LOGIN:
/community/suche/erweitert/28-umgebungssuche-1?type=user

The sorting behavior is based on the advanced search default sorting behavior under Settings > Users > Layout

Hi Mark,

In this case I am not talking about sorting but about the distance shown to each member at the results. You can see the old filter result shows distance, the new one does not.

hey Sabih,

I did try these following link from your site, but it seems like it didn't show the result for me, you can check my attached screenshot below, am i missing something here?
/community/benutzer/Filter/1-umgebungssuche (live site)
/community/suche/erweitert/28-umgebungssuche-1?type=user (development site)

Perhaps you can provide us more info like what custom field you included in this global search filter and what configuration you made so we can try reproduce this issue in my locally?

Hi Arlex,

I am sorry, both links are on the dev site logged in as Julia. The global search filters are address -> distance -> 50km so you need members inside this radius to have results.

Unfortunately I can not say much details about the old global filter, because I created that one in august 2015 and using that link since then. The new one I just created and wondered why the details on the results were different. I can not exclude the fact that this is caused by me, though I have no idea why the results look so different.

Hey Sabih,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply, perhaps you can provide us with your Julia user account access so we can directly check on your development site?

And I would like to make sure these following 2 link is it get it from your development site right?
/community/benutzer/Filter/1-umgebungssuche
/community/suche/erweitert/28-umgebungssuche-1?type=user

Updated the first post with credentials. I thought the logins were there already.

I just found out that the dating search results for distance show the distance of each member while the advanced search for distance does not. But why my old global filter shows results like the dating search module is a miracle for me. At least I have to admit that this is no issue at all. Since I now know how to handle this I am fine and you do not need to spend your support time for this.

Maybe just think about having both search results showing the same details on results probably would make sense for a future release.
