Glitch with Rankings that led to a Break

I believe this to be an issue that may cross over to jomsocial.

After last easydiscuss update (ed 3.2.9304) rankings were being issued to jomsocial activity stream with every post. Using the administrator account, it was deleted from the front end activity stream which broke the site layout. Now, the stream is not responding to deleting the ranking activity, but is responding to all other actions. Help would be appreicated. It should be noted that this occurred 2 days ago as well and I wasn't sure what happened, so I restored a backup (losing a days worth of work) and reinstalled everything only to have it happen again. This time, I caught it and recalled that it was the same thing that I did a couple days ago. It should also be noted that the site is currently live. I have included a index.html file to the root to give the users the impression that it is down, but can be bypassed by going to wefloat.net/index.php

I've checked your site and seems like the issue is came from the stream content which I can't identify it. The site is working now. But if the issue occur again in the future, please refer back to us so we can identify which stream item that causing the break.

Hello Kane,

What I did was going to Backend>Jomsocial>Monitor>Activities. What I suspect is there is something in the content of the stream item that break the page. Then I deleted one of the activities to test (which I hardly remember it), then the page is back to normal. So, later if you face this issue again, do refer back to us. As for the ranks, can you specify which page? Perhaps some screenshots?

Thanks Nik, I have a strong suspicion that the content that broke the site was the easydiscuss ranking being given out for every post. It broke when I attempted to delete it. I now have a content stream full of ranking that needs to be deleted. I really don't want to disable the ranking system. Can you see what is causing it to malfunction? Thanks in advance.

Sorry but I don't get you here. Which ranking you are referring to? Can you give steps on how to replicate it? Please advise.

The easy discuss ranking system.. each activity the user gets points and when they cross a threshold of points, they are awarded a higher ranking (new member, junior member, etc). I have since changed the ranking names to reflect the purpose of the site (float newb, float enthusiast, float expert, etc). If you look at the front page stream, you will see a rank being awarded every time someone posts a discussion or a reply regardless of not crossing the appropriate point threshold. It was an attempt to delete one of these awards in the stream that caused the break. Thanks.

Hello Kane,

I've deleted one of the ranking activity from the stream and the page didn't break. By the way, if you wish to exclude the ranking activity from appearing on the stream, you can go to Backend>EasyDiscuss>Settings>Integration>jomsocial and turn off this option: http://screencast.com/t/GKvuthkI1PX .

So it broke again. Didn't touch anything, but another user was rewarded a rank. I don't want to disable ranking or its inclusion in the activity stream, both lend to the dynamics of the site, but there is clearly a bug that needs addressing. I have included a screenshot to show a single person being awarded 3 rankings on the same screen. I attempted to remove an award using the jomsocial activity monitor with no luck. Now, the "participate in discussion" formatting in the stream is out of whack too. I have also included a screen shot for this. Please give a look.
