Currently that was not possible to build a github block, perhaps you can submit a feature request on this in our forums https://stackideas.com/forums/easyblog/feature-requests .

By the way, you can actually use this alternative 'Code block' (add code) or 'Gist block' (embed Gist link) to achieve this.
