Getting to other (video) Categories from specific any Categories page.

Hi Si Team

There is one thing that I still can not get my head around:

If I go here:

http://www.finalbug.net/blog/entry/560-fcp-x-subtitles-the-missing-webinars-03

And click on the:

4 Videos link this takes me here:

http://www.finalbug.net/videos/group/23-advanced

On the left hand side I see “All videos” = 4.
Which makes sense as I have 4 videos in this category.

If I look further down on the left hand side I see a total of 8 categories including the one I am in.
Again I see 4 videos for the category that I am in.
Totally cool.

But the other 7 categories are all listed and each has in theory 0 videos in them.
I know for a fact that these categories have videos in them.

I see this when I go to the all videos page:

http://www.finalbug.net/videos

There are a total of 40 videos.

Why, oh why, oh why, do I not see them here:

http://www.finalbug.net/videos/group/23-advanced

kindly advise

I would suggest that you try this before even posting on our forums.

It does not show you videos from other categories because there are no videos posted in that category FOR THAT GROUP

I get the first part:

When you click on the videos link on the group's mini header, it will bring you to the GROUP'S VIDEO page. It is NOT THE SAME as the ALL VIDEOS PAGE.


With respect to the second part:

It does not show you videos from other categories because there are no videos posted in that category FOR THAT GROUP

In the category:

"Just for fun"

And viola exactly what you say!!!

I now have 5 videos in 2 categories in the basic section.

I still need to think about the best way to proceed as this confused me and might confuse other people viewing my site.

The bottom line for me is building a workflow that I can implement in a shop!

If you have any tips i am all ears.
