The EasySocial Dropdown Menu is pretty close to being perfect in my book. It's missing two important things that the ES login module has which are:
1. Remember Me Style: Currently users have to check the box manually each time for it to remember the user. The ES login module has an option called "visible and checked" or "hidden and checked". It had two other options in the drop down as well. An easy solution would be to copy it over from the ES login module to the dropdown menu one.
2. Register Button: The login form has a register button, why not the ES drop down menu? I know there is a link that currently exists upon clicking the login button, but this isn't the best practice in my opinion. A user who does not have an account would have to assume that they could sign up from the login form. In addition to this the link is not super obvious.
Register Button as seen on ES's Login Module:
Sites like Wikipedia, Github, Panoramio, and many more have the register button as a separate button because they know ease of access to this for a non member is very important. On this forum I've seen multiple cases where other people were looking for a way to show a register button for the drop down login. User sign ups are perhaps the most important part of a site which is why this is very important.
