We have rigged EasyDiscuss and the Cronjob (@ Rochen) so that Users can reply via email. We seem to have everything working and set correctly, but the Reply emails are not picked up by EasyDiscuss and posted.

We verified that [ wget ] is the path at Rochen. They also told us our cronjob should be:
wget -O /dev/null "http://schoharielandtrust.org/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&task=cron"; > /dev/nul

1. Running the cron via URL in browser seems to work. But only to send, not parse 'n post a reply to the Discussion.

2. Checking via webmail we see that our replies WERE received by the account. We also note that we get "success" in the mail parser test/run (back office of EasyDiscuss. (We've attached a pertinent capture of our settings.)

Since this is a new install of ED we left almost everything alone, to preserve the simplest testing environment. We have the same issue on other domains that now want this email-reply-posting feature, and so it is quite likely either we're doing something wrong with rigging or there is a Rochen issue.

NOTE: for Front End login, see Optional info in Site Details tab, below.

Thanks in advance

Greg
Hello Greg Correll,

Sorry for late reply to this,
May i have the permission to do some test post in your site regarding this issues?
By the way, can you provide us with your Cpanel access so we can check on this? Please advise.

Hello Greg Correll,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
I don't see any cPanel login info in the particular site details in your previous reply, can you try edit your main post and put the details in that particular site details as well?

My sincere apologies, Arlex! Not sure what went wrong when i pasted in those cPanel details in the Optional Information field—but I must have done something wrong. You guys must get tired of these silly errors we make when we provide logins and info.

I added it to the Main post up above, to the Optional Information field.

Thanks Arlex!

We created a Ticket (#32618) and made sure to provide cPanel and all else; we also referenced this forum post URL
