Hi there,

I'm trying to figure out how exactly to make the latest posts (say 5-10) posted in EasyBlog appear on my homepage in full-fledged form, meaning that I want it to look exactly the way it does as when viewing it directly on the actual blog page of my website (complete with images, author info, social links, etc).

I am using the Corvus theme from Rocket Themes and right now the only option I'm seeing to display my blog posts on the homepage is using their mosaic module, but that displays the posts in a very unappealing way. I have attached a image of how it currently displays on the homepage (image titled "homepage") and a photo of how the posts appear on the blog page. The desired effect would be to get the blogs to appear on my homepage the way they look on the "Blog Page" image I've uploaded.

Thank you in advance!
Hello Josh,

You may display the blog post in a full-fledged form by going to your joomla backend > easyblog > settings > set 'truncate blog content as introtext' as NO & set 'show read more only when necessary' as NO. You may also want to set the number of paragraphs to the average paragraph your blog post usually has, something like this screenshot example http://screencast.com/t/Io92PwuVIC . The result would be something like this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/7fwOw96ibr .

Regarding your module not displaying according to your specification, you may want to use the 'EasyBlog Latest Blogs' module & position the module according to your theme. The theme will look something like this screenshot example http://screencast.com/t/CiMiwklvEN .

Hope it helps

I'd like to know how to display a post (or posts) on the homepage in an attractive way too.

Hi Kheng,

Thank you so much for the quick reply. I downloaded and added in the EasyBlog Latest Blog module and already the result is better. However, is it possible to have the "Latest Blog Module" display the social links, and in my screenshot below I'm still not getting the actual text of the blog post when using the module, just the headline, plus the image has been distorted.

I also want one post to stretch across the entire middle area of the template (note all the white space to the right of the module), but I'm assuming that's just going to involve some module settings tweaking I hope.

Hello Josh,

Unfortunately the module doesn't display social links . But you can set the module to display the actual text by going to your backend > extensions > module manager > EasyBlog Latest Blogs module > post parameter > set content source as main content & set show read more as no as shown in this screen shot example http://screencast.com/t/X8G4KwTs .

For the image settings, you may got to your module setting in your backend under photo post and adjust the width & height of your photo appearing in the module as shown in this screen shot example http://screencast.com/t/vLQDD1sCZ3QS .

Hope that helps
