I would like a generic link that any logged in user can click to take them to the Create Album page. The standard link in contains their username so is hard for me to implement using a Custom HTML module.
Any ideas?

You can create a new menu for this Easysocial - create album menu from backend, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.
After you created this menu item, then go to your frontend and click on this menu item. After that copy the URL link into your custom HTML module.
Once you done above, you can put this menu to hidden. Hope this will help.
