Would it be possible to provide a section in every StackIdeas component which can be triggered by an CronJob and perform the language updates (means automatically update the language from the components)? That would be quite handy...
Hi Tela,

Language updates basically overwrites the current backend and frontend language files on the component.

I think auto-updating the language files is not advisable as it will overwrite those files and certain sites actually directly edit those files to change their translation, which means their changes will be lost.

hm, and what about an idea inside the setup to control that? Default should be "AutoUpdate Languages" and if the users really wish to manually change the language they one need to disable that and they are fine then.

Based on what I see, currently you are the only one who request this, perhaps you can submit a post under Easyblog feature request area (https://stackideas.com/forums/easyblog/feature-requests) so we will see if there a lot of user who want to automatically update their component language translation, then we will definitely consider to implement this in the future.
