a User just added a Jomsocial Album into Blog via Media Manager but not all Gallery Thumbs are visible. JS Remote Storage is enabled for Photos and Thumbs. Original Photos are still on Server! EB try to load Thumbs from Server but they all located in S3 Bucket!

some of the Thumbs are still showed because the Cloudflare Cache provides them even if they are not longer on Server.

hi, it's very late here in europe and maybe i'm little tired and also not very patient. but it would be nice if i get solution for this issue and my Blog reader are able to see Image Thumbs for JS Albums. good night or good morning..whatever

Hi Rene,

I am sorry for the late reply because I have missed this thread.
I have able to replicate this issue with our local. However, I'm still investigating the root issue for this. From my initial finding, it seems like this is happen when the images from Jomsocial album is deleted. Jomsocial regenerate the image but doesn't regenerate the thumbnails. I cannot confirm this right now since I still investigating this. I will get back to you once I found the root issue and perhaps a solution for this.

hello Mohd, the JS Album in this Blog entry can't be deleted..because if you click on a not showed thumbnail the Original Image is showed! The root issue here is, that a Gallery Albums in Media Manager not work if the image Files are located in Remote Store S3 Bucket! The Original Image is still on my Server and that's the reason why the Gallery Lightbox works, but the Thumbnails not showed! i remember that i reported this issue in 2113 and if we searched in forum i'm sure we will find the related post..

I have apply some fix on your site and I have created a test post. Here is my screenshot: The images from the s3 amazon is displaying correctly as it should be. Can you verify this issue is now resolved. I will extends this issue to our developer.

Hi Mohd, many thanks for your fixes and quick reply today. please add here wich file did you modified and delete also above link to screencast. thank you

your fix works good as long as the originalphoto is available on server. if you check your testpost again you will see that there is another glitch in code with s 3 images. because in the Preview of your testpost you will get a "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later." if you click on one of these thumbnails! thats because of both originalphotos are not available on server. would be good if the script load instead the photo from s3!

I seems can't replicate your "glitch with s3". About my fix, it is a temporary fix. You can find it in your site in this file: ...\components\com_easyblog\helpers\album.php line: 219 . I will extends this issue to our developers and have a proper fix on this issue.

hi Mohd, your temorary fix works perfect for Gallery Thumbs! thanks again what i tried to explain is the following scenario:

if Jomsocial > Configuration > Photo > Delete Original Photos is set to "yes" and the originalphoto from jomsocial albums are deleted on server (during upload) then we get for Album Gallery Lightbox Images a message like "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later."

the reason is for this message is that, EB try to load the originalphoto for Gallery Lightbox from server..but with above settings it will be failed. if the originalphoto is not available, then should the Ligthbox Image are loaded from S3 Bucket /photos/.. folder instead!

Did you now unterstand what i tried to explain?

I have helped you fix this issue. Now both thumbnails image and the original image are loaded from Amazon s3. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/43N7woIkOUG . hi Mohd, thanks again for your temporary fix. did your fix check if originalphotos are on server and switch then to s3 photos or does it load now every Gallery photos from Amazon s3?

My temporary fix just load the images from the Amazon s3 and I do not put any checking on the fix. I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused.
