We don't need to use the toolbar at the moment. It doesn't fit with Office template design.

I have an issue with the toolbar in EasyDiscuss as well.
On one of my sites, the toolbar disappeared, thus I cannot search anymore.

Now, I tried to replicate the error with another site.
First, I updated all open components and then to the last version of Joomla.
--> Toolbar ok

Then I updated to EasyDiscuss 5.0.6
-->Toolbar disappears and on the main page of the component, the version info is missing.

What can I do to fix this?

Is this the site that having the toolbar issue http://acarbona.com.w0178d14.kasserver.com ? I tried to login but it just redirect me back to the login page. By the way, you may want to create a new post regarding your issue so that we could track each user's issue correctly. Yours may or may not be the same issue as this thread's issue.

I just made a new Joomla 4 installation for development site and the issue is still there.

Is it possible for you to provide us the access to your Joomla 4 site so that we could troubleshoot directly there?

Just make another fresh install of Joomla 4 with ED.
Looks like the attachment no.3 have nothing to do with ED. It's happen when using PHP8.1.

I made a new installation for Joomla 4 with ED and ED installation went well so far.
