Happy New Years... Is there any way to allow users to post full images in profile streams?? Right now it only post strips of images...
Hi,

I'm not quite sure what you mean with "strips of images" here. Could you elaborate more on this?

I totally agree with Courtney! Currently it cuts off most of a image when posted to the stream. I attached two screen shots showing exactly what we mean. One shows how it looks in the stream, the other shows how it looks in the gallery. As you can see the real photo isn't a "strip". I'm guessing the same image display method is used for showing a cover image as when showing a posted image into the stream.

The current method is bad practice for two big reasons:

1. It does not display the image well. With a few CSS tweaks I had it display the full image (but unfortunately only for that image).

2. It uses more bandwidth and takes longer to load since it loads the original.

I propose it use some sort of medium sized image. Perhaps some where in the 300-700px range in terms of size.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm creating a ticket for this in the EasySocial dev trunk.
