Hi,

I would like to use the Joomla default page heading in your EasyBlog Frontpage menu type. It seems that menu type doesn't load the page heading when one is specified.

Please advise ?
Danny
Is this planned in a soon branch ?
I'm now at 3.9.14998 and still no page headings
Thanks
Danny

Hello Danny,

Hmm that is strange we have already added this in the latest version. As long as you set the Show Page Header to YES in the Menu Item settings then the page header will show. If it doesn't show please send us yout backend and FTP access to check it out. Please advice.

Thanks!

Hi,

Has this ever been addressed ?

I'm using EasyBlog 3.9.19775 and even though I have the page title enabled in the Joomla menu item, it doesn't appear like it should (like all my others)

http://www.bma.finance/bma-finance-propos
http://www.bma.finance/services-aux-particuliers
http://www.bma.finance/services-aux-entreprises
http://www.bma.finance/equipe

Here is the blog page
http://www.bma.finance/blogue

It was mentionned once in another thread that you would allow the admin to set the page title class. This would resolve the issue ;-)

Notice how the page title is different.

Please advise
Thanks
Danny

Hi Danny,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have checked your site and it seems like this issue is already fixed. Am I missing something here? If I do, can you please create another ticket on this issue and can you please explain more so that we can understand you well. I believe this can minimize the confusion between both of us since this ticket is very old. Also, can you please provide us backend access and FTP access so that we can assist you further on this issue.

Please advise.

Hello Danny,

EasyBlog actually already supports the heading by inheriting the page heading from your settings in the menu but the styling is different because there is no way for us to know what styling does your template utilize.

In your case, what I had to do is to copy the html codes that was used on your articles and pasted the following in /components/com_easyblog/themes/default/toolbar.php

<h1 class="tm-title"><span><?php echo $title;?></span></h1>

OK thanks
So both of these fixes required a small hack to the "toolbar.php" file.
I appreciate your help
On that note: this option really should be a part of your product. We do this on ALL our sites ;-)
Thanks
Danny
