Frontpage blog not displaying all comments and not full comments

Hi folks,
I just renewed my subscription
I have a site with a menu item which uses the frontpage blog style. It's set to display a single/latest entry... and it does.
but...
For the life of me I can't the full comments to display. only one comment displays and it's truncated to around 100 chars ... I'm guessing.
I've included blog page as well as a screenshot of the settnigs-layout to show frontpage settings.

What's going on?

Hello G,

It is because this is a listing layout. Means it will only show the comment preview. If you want to display all the comment, you can use Single Entry Layout. Please give it a try.

Thanks. I had seen this but the drawback to this solution is that every time a new blog post is created, the menu item will need to be manually changed. In the previous method (front page blog layout), displaying the latest blog entry was automatic... which is what we wanted.

Good point there but I'm sorry currently we don't have listing layout with full listing of comments displayed.
