Hm, sorry but I am not really sure if I understand you here. Do you mean you want the blog posts to get removed from the front page after 5 days? Unfortunately that is not possible right now

Now I am confused. When I use "Frontpage Blog Layout", only recent blogs show up. And I get the impression blogs are removed after a while. At least old blogs dont show up before I change the creation date...

I want the blogs to stay on the front page, but I only want to show featured blogs and 8 recent blogs.

Is this possible?

Hello Pelle,

I have check your site and it seems like your "blog" menu is set to be "recent blog posts". Here the screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/4UcKqnBzhSF0 . You can change this in menu for blog and select "Frontpage Blog Layout".

If you encounter problem can you provide us with backend access and ftp access as well so that we are able to assist you on this issue much quicker.

Hello Pelle,

Honestly I do not know what is causing your blog post to be deleted after 5 days. Easyblog only have unpublished feature over certain period of time. Perhaps your other super user accidently delete the blog post but it is highly unlikely to be happen right? Please give it a try on my blog post on your site and see if the blog post are deleted after 5 days.

Regarding your previous question, I have helps you set the featured blogs to be on top by configure: Components > Easyblog > Settings > Layout > Featured Items > Display featured listings on frontpage = yes. About the blog menu, I have set the Pagination = "use Easyblog list length" in: Menus > Main menu > Blog > Advance > Pagination = "use Easyblog list length" . So that you can configure the pagination list in Easyblog settings: Components > Easyblog > Settings > Layout > Pagination / List Limit > Frontpage = 8. I also helps you sort Frontpage posts order to descending in: Components > Easyblog > Settings > Layout > Ordering > Frontpage posts sort = descending.
