Hi folks,
I want to setup a frontpage blog layout menu item to display only the latest blog post....and I want to have all comments of this blog in view when this menu item is displayed.
I can display the latest post successfully but I can not determine how to display the comments. It only indicates "x comments" (x= a number)

How do I accomplish this?
Edit your menu which links to your frontpage blog layout and ensure that the options here are enabled, http://screencast.com/t/EDaOFIhz

Thanks, we're close.
However, I don't want comment previews but want the entire comments... as in a single blog entry.
... with the comment entry form.

That is not possible with the frontpage blog layout. Comments can only appear on the single blog entry layout

Thanks for clarifying.
In this case, because of the current bug, to be fixed in .20, I can not preview my blog posts.
Until the update is release, can I use the router.php file as described in this post?

Will this be a workaround?

I don't think that fix Nik provided is correct but I have already patched your site
