Hi
I have installed Easyblog on a new site I am building and so far everything seems to work well, except that the Frontend Edit link in articles does nothing when clicked - that is when logging in as superuser or publisher with all ACL options allowed. Running Joomla 3.2 and latest version of EasyBlog. Edit Links work in Joomla articles but not Easyblog.

Any Ideas please how I can fix this?

Regards
Chris
Hello Chris,

I am so sorry for this delayed reply. We already inspected you CSS styling and we figured out that there is our mistake in styling up the Admin dropdown option.

I already fixed this directly on your site and it's should work now. Thank you very much for reporting this issue, I will get the development team to update this bug in our local development.

Please let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you and have a nice day.

Hi,

I think you are trying to log in at http://www.vcut.co.uk/administrator/ whereas the development site is at http://www.vcut.co.uk/development/administrator/ - you should not have any issues logging in there.

Cheers
Chris

Hi Mohd,

When you say a full access what more exactly do you need?

You already have ftp access and full administrator privileges on the Joomla login I provided. Not sure what else I can give you.

Hello Chris,

When I login from your frontend this http://screencast.com/t/K4xfVQbI2Zv came up.

about:
You already have ftp access and full administrator privileges on the Joomla login I provided. Not sure what else I can give you.
When I login from backend I didn't have super administrator privileges because I want to check your Global configuration.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Not sure what the issue is I don't even recognize the screenshot you sent as coming from my servers, but I have just tested the login and its working both frontend and backend.

Are you at http://www.vcut.co.uk/development/index.php/news-blog.html for the frontend login
and
http://www.vcut.co.uk/development/administrator/ for the backend?

Hi Mohd,

I have been away today so only just had a chance to check in on this - many thanks for sorting this out for me and the Edit Link drop down menu is now operating fine.

As a minor point, an error message now appears immediately above the EasyBlog List dropdown:

"Strict Standards: Non-static method modListHelper::getPosts() should not be called statically in /home/vcutco/public_html/development/modules/mod_easybloglist/mod_easybloglist.php on line 34"
The message only shows up because you had altered Error Reporting to Maximum in the Backend and it does not show up with normal settings. Still probably a small code change you will want to address for future issues.

Regards

Chris
