Hi.

If you go here to see the front page of my blog: Blog Front page

you'll see that the last 3 posts are displaying differently to the ones previous. And not for the better. The layout and text are completely different - much smaller and much less of it. I've no idea why this has happened.

I would prefer them all to display like the post titled 'Internet safety for kids' or 'Howto say merry Xmas...'.

Can anyone explain this change and perhaps help me get them back to the way they were?

many thanks.

Geoff
Hello Geoff,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. From what I can see here, the post "Internet safety for kids", seems to contain some additional styling attributes, http://take.ms/tcXdvw

If you want to enforce that all the contents has a similar styling, you could add the block of css codes below into your template's css file,

[gist]
.eb-post-body p, .eb-post-body {
font-family: verdana,geneva !important;
font-size: 14pt !important;
}
[/gist]

Thanks Mark I appreciate it. Sill Friday here - so sorry!

When anyone gets a minute, I'd really very much like for someone to put that in for me - beyond my skills unfortunately. I'd also like the last 3 posts to be showing in the same way if that's possible.

I'm very grateful for the help!

Sure, I have added the codes into /templates/ashtutors_home_responsive/css/style.css . You might want to purge your browser's cache to refresh the css file.

Thanks for doing that Mark - now the font size is correct.

However, the layout is still completely different from all the other posts. The last 3 posts I'm only getting a very short snippet of the post. The ones prior to that are displaying a much longer amount of content - which I prefer.

is there a method of changing the last 3 posts (and any future posts) to display like all the others?

Many thanks.

Hello Geoff,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. It looks like these prior posts are written using the conventional WYSIWYG editor as opposed to the recent ones where you are using the composer.

There is 2 ways to have more text on the listing page:

1. Increase the character count, http://take.ms/IIetR . Since there is no way to truncate the contents by paragraphs in the composer, you need to set the number of characters to truncate.

or

2. Add a read more block in the content, http://take.ms/bdio8 . This way, it enforces EasyBlog to display the content up till the read more block.

Ah that would explain it.

The read more block has fixed it - looks much better now.

Thanks for your awesome help - and enjoy your public holiday! (Alright for some!)
