It's a super easy fix for admin when they know it... but just reporting to ensure you're still aware it exists...

...If no default category has been set for EB, then the 'new post' screen front end will just stay blank.

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding this issue, I've added a maintenance script so that during the installation, EasyBlog will ensure there is one default category assigned to avoid blank page when compose new blog post

The fix will be included in next release of EasyBlog 5
