Hi I enabled the mod_rewrite and Friendly URLs but now I can't navigate to Easyblog content. What I need to do to fix it?
The regular joomla content appear to work well, but the easyblog content I cant access.. I get 404 error.

PS: I want to remove the INDEX.PHP info from URL.

Any tip regarding this situation?

Bellow I provide the site informations.

With best regards

Hello Bruno,

Sorry for the late reply. I rechecked your issue and it seems like your.htaccess file is empty. I have renamed it as .htaccess.old and recreate another .htaccess file from the original htaccess.txt file. Your links are now working correctly. Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Hi Adele, thank you so much for your help, but unfortunately it is not working.
If you just enabled the mod_rewrite, it was exactly what I did, and we still get the 404 error message. Did you test it?

PS: I disabled the mod_rewrite right now to male the site work again and still need help on that.

With best regards

Hello Bruno,

Sorry for the late reply. There is a htaccess.txt file in every single Joomla installation. What you should do is make a duplicate and rename it to .htaccess. I have included the txt file just incase yours is not available. Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Hi!:

Sorry to reopen an old post.

I have exactly the same problem with friendly URL's

I tested with the htaccess.txt attachment at this post and with the original .htaccess files Joomla 3.4.1 and I have no solution.

The public content looks good, but when a blogger access the dashboard (create a new post, edit tags, etc.) skips the error...

If you want I can open a new post.

Thank in advance, and sorry for my english

Hi Artemi0,

Sorry for late reply to this,

Yes, if can, open another new thread regarding this question for this is good for you.

By the way, did you try enable this "Use URL rewriting" from your backend? Check my screenshot below.

If your server is apache, you have to rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess before activating.

However that will be good if you can consult with your webhosting provider regarding this.
