Hello, on transifex the french language is now complete, but from my backend i can't get the last update, always at 59% instead 100%. how can i solve it?
Agreed, this is not easy to translate. We asked our users and they chose to stick with "badges" and "ont obtenu ce badge"

minor error i saw : i get :"il y a ...... ago"

Hi,

Personally, I think “achiever” don't translate good in a noun. I would go with a circumlocution like :
"Ceux qui l'ont déjà" or "Détenteurs du même trophée" since Achievement is translated with "trophée".

As for the translation of verbs, maybe in your tests Mark, you can test whether "current user" is there or not, since it requires always the same form of verbs. And when "current user" is not involved it is whether singlar or plural.

Best,

Sébastien

I tested and have the same issue on my server… however, on Transifex, I can't see where it is… by the way, the issue is only on comments as you can see… got to find in which file it is…

Are you guys on the Translations chat over Skype? This thread is getting nasty but I think more attention needs to be paid on the translation issue

sorry, i 've just seen your post..

Today, I've corrected some minor translation issues. But there still is 2 real issues.

1 - Find a workaround to conjugate verbs

2 - Translations for comments are .. strange. We no longer find the strings relating to data-comments-item-date. In more, the is a strange behaviour with "Like" and "Unlike" Words. They are in french at the beginning. If i click on "J'aime" in french, the english words are used, i.e : "like" and "unlike".. very strange.
If i refresh the page, translation is restored ..

We can close this thread if u want.. these issues have nothing to do with the subject.
