Hi,

You offer a free template Wanderers for activated Easyblog.
Where can I find the template?

Regards Ed
Hi Ed,

Thank you for your inquiry. Justin here, from Stack Ideas' marketing team. We used to offer Wanderers for free as we do not provide any means and forms of support for it. However, since it's initial release, we received massive support requests, ranging from minor bugs to customization inquiries. Hence, we have no choice but to put a small, one-time fee for Wanderers in order to cater to the support that we are now providing with Wanderers.

Wanderers is now available for you at $45.

You can get more info on this via our blog post here, or you can purchase Wanderers here.

Let me know if you have any other inquiries.

Hi Ahmad,

Hope you will reconsider. You have written on http://stackideas.com/blog/wanderers-the-complete-joomla-template that "We stand firm with our words; Wanderers is available FOR FREE to those who have an active EasySocial, EasyDiscuss and/or EasyBlog Pro license.".

One of the reasons for purchasing EasyBlog is that a template was included, now I must buy this template???

Best Regards

Hi Ed,

Thank you for your response. I understand your situation. Allow me to elaborate more; you have quoted our blog post from the 18th of August 2014, which is roughly one year ago. In-context, those words are referring to the questions that were thrown at us by our users; will this template be available for free, or do they have to pay for it. Thus I've wrote what you have quoted before.

I've checked your purchase and it was made on October 2014, nearly 9 months ago. We've just announced Wanderers' change of plan on the 14th of July 2015, during which we've explained the reason behind the change.

Is there something that I've missed?

Hi Ahmad,

Can't answer the question if you missed something but if I had known that the template wasn't under free use I never had removed it after reinstalling the Joomla website.

Just disappointed that this wasn't announced like you do after introducing new products or services.

Could understand your decision after more than one year fee.

Hi Ed

None of my business but I would rather pay for it and have support. No questions asked.
I was an early adopter and I suspect that I actually rattled Mark slightly with my early support requests.

Also think there pricing is very fair.

Pay once and use open end.
Most other template options I have seen either :

- Offer a subscription eg 6 months
- Have different paid versions for different Joomla versions

Hey Ed
I Got in on the template when it was free.. and I plan on buying the support for it in time when EasySocial goes to version 1.4 cause I know it will be needed due to new options being added, like video,,

It is worth it, but that is just my opinion...

Hey Ed,

Since you have already downloaded the Wanderers template and you can actually still use it on the site. We are not imposing any restrictions on your usage. We are charging a very nominal fee of $45 just to ensure that the template will continue being maintained and I really think this is a fair price considering that it is only a 1 time charge

Ahmad,

If I still had the template I would use it again.
Wasn't aware that option for download is removed.

Sure, it is a fair price and yes.....it's important to receive support if needed...!

Adjust your article http://stackideas.com/blog/wanderers-the-complete-joomla-template so nobody can get the impression that it is still available for free.
