try to download the easysocial launcher from your dashboard and do a re-install. in most cases this should already fix your problem.

nope, it won't dump your database.
however if you modified some core files then a new installation (but also updates) might overwrite them.
in every case always do a backup first, so you're safe if something unexpected went wrong.
