Hello,

There is a small bug with the forum navigation since the latest update. A user is unable to navigate to the "forums" menu item as it defaults to "recent". All of the other items work properly.

Hi Fidel,

I've tried to replicate this issue locally seems I can reproduce it, if you create a menu item for Forum page, the forum link in the navbar will not append the menu alias. I've logged this issue and our developers will take an action for this.

Thanks for understanding.

Watching this one as well... Would love to have the ability to set this up similar to the way you are using it here, and have an "ALL" tab so they can see all of the forums. In fact, I'd love to know how you set this menu up, as I would like to duplicate it's functionality. It looks like you are using 'wireframe' for most of this, but the menu is different.

Hey Rick,

Thanks for head up on this, it actually depend on how you setup your menu structure for Easydiscuss then configure the correct routing behaviour from Easydiscuss backend setting.

Perhaps you can start a new thread on our forums so we can provide us with your current site access so we can discuss with you what is the best routing behaviour you should use?

It appears that issue has been resolved with the latest releae of ED.

@Rick, to achieve this type of navigation, I have creaed menu item for
EasyDiscuss ยป Forums Layout
and then no specified category.

And ya, I use wire-frame a lot because I do a lot of my own customization to the stackideas components with regard to styling.

Let me know if I can help you with any other questions.

Thanks.

Thank you both. I'll experiment a bit more. @Fidel, I currently run this on a local host but plan on placing it online behind a static index page next week. When I do, I'll place a super user account for stackideas, and will forward login details.
