Looks like after the update to 5.1.6 from 5.0.41 there is a problem with many of my older blogs. These were imported a long time ago and only have a first article image, no poster image. Up to this update they showed fine, now they all get the default poster image even though this is turned off as a global, as a category and as a menu option. This issue only occurred after the update.
Hi Stephen,

Regarding your issues, can you pass me your Joomla backend admin access and your ftp account so that I can further investigate this issue? By right in EasyBlog 5.1.6, we no longer pick the first image as cover photo when viewing the single blog post page.

As for your enquiry to change our testing domain back to your live site, you may post your request in our Billing forum.

Hope this help and have a nice day
Sam

Thanks for the reply. I may not have communicated well. I do not use or need the first image to be a poster image. The imported blogs that are affected all had a small first image that could not be used as a poster image. They have sat for some time working great. Here is a link to the current test site which is at a pre-update status.
http://test.ncadd.biz/blogs/addiction-update/the-prevention-of-substance-use-disorders-2
and this is the link to the live site that has been updated:
https://www.ncadd.org/blogs/addiction-update/the-prevention-of-substance-use-disorders-2
You can see the problem is the blank poster placeholder image. The options to not use that are all set correctly and that used to work. It is like after the upgrade the option to turn of the default poster image does not work.
Giving you guys access to the site is not possible. It is locked down for security.
I would like to give you access to the test site, but right now the /administrator path is password protected for the whole server and I would need to make an exception for that subdirectory.
I feel the issue is in the update so if you have others that see the problem or can make it happen yourself’ s, great. If not get back to me and I will try to get you access or the site moved to my dev server.

Just looking around at others with a similar problem.

I set my image width to 1px under EasyBlog, Settings, Layout, Post Cover.

You might find this as a temporary fix.
