Hello,

Using Akeeba Admin tools and htaccess maker with front-end protection creates a problem, I receive a 403 forbidden error when front-end protection is enabled and trying to upload an avatar:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden) http://DOMAIN/media/com_easysocial/tmp/dd108e53073cfb3ebaf22876e8564524_avatar/90543aed60bf9dbef14dbb20da401035

The .htaccess maker does allow you to configure exceptions by directory but because the directory seems to be unique for each upload, I can't see how to allow exceptions in htaccess maker for file

Any suggestions here?

Jordan
I'm also using AdminTools, but not having any issues uploading avatars. Did you add com_easysocial to WAF Exceptions under Web Application Firewall?

You need to enable 'frontend protection' in .htaccess error to reproduce the error.

...ah sorry.

This is only happening if trying to upload avatars in the backend user manager. It seems to be fine in the front end.

Hm, is there some restrictions added to the back end area?

There was a query key you had to add but I removed it.
