I would like to have my blog image - that main image - float to the left - and on previous installations I'm pretty sure that the float was configured - but I can't figure out how to get this to work.

I also had a much more complete editor - and wonder if there is some kind of add on editor I should activate - I've tried with JCE and with Rok - but neither are giving me as much control as I recall having on the past...

I've attached a screenshot of another blog I write on and here the image floats left.

How do I achieve the same thing on my new site?

Hi Steve,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Have you checked the JCE editor settings for usergroup? Joomla > Components > JCE > Editor Profiles > Default > (registered) and Joomla > EasyBlog > Settings > Layout > Dashboard > Default editor = JCE .

If this is not the issue, perhaps you explain more so that we are able to understand you better. By the way, can you provide us with backend access and FTP access so that we can assist you quicker.

Please advise.

It seems that I'm not changing the editor in easyblog when I change them in the site config.... or for the user. I have the full editor for new articles, but not for my blog posts.... and I cannot see where that is controlled. Feeling rather stupid... but smart enough to know I need help

Hello Steve,

I would normally advise users to utilize blog images instead of embedding the primary image into the content. This is often a better way of doing things because you could use css to control the blog image's styling.

If you are still wanting to place the image into the content instead, what you should do is to utilize the alignment features that is provided by the editor that you are using. EasyBlog doesn't control these alignments.

Well... despite having JCE available for articles - selected as the default editor and my user using the default option - this is what I get in the Easyblog interface
