Finding Easyblog 5.1.15 to Download

I have a client on a joomla 2.5 installation that we are planning to upgrade in a couple months, but in the interim we need to update easyblog to 5.1.15. Where can I find the download for the package installer? When I try to install through the "Update Now" button it tells me I have to use the full package installer. Where can I get this?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Try download my attached file and replace into JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php and see how it goes.

Before you replace the file you have to backup the original file first.

Hi Warith,

The only installers here try to install the current version of easyblog which is incompatible with 2.5. I tried once before and it required that i upgrade to joomla 3.x. I'm not ready for that I won't be for a few months. Is there a link you can send me to download the install easyblog 5.1.15?

Hey Bernard,

If your client site still using Joomla 2.5, you have to install this Easyblog 5.0.44 installer which is the only last version compatible with Joomla 2.5.

May i know what is your current Easyblog version installed in your site?

I don't see a link to the installer. Where do you mean?

What i mean is Easyblog 5.1.x only compatible with Joomla 3.x.

In other word, if you already running Easybog 5.0.44 version on your current Joomla 2.5 site, so you do not need to update any latest version of Easyblog on your site.

Unless you upgrade your site to Joomla 3.x version, so you can able to update to Easyblog 5.1.x version.

Got it. So I already have the last version compatible with j2.5. Well, let me tell you what I’m trying to fix and maybe you can tell me best approach.

Easyblog’s taggging system is not storing all tags when you save a post. It stores one or maybe two that we add to a post. We usually add 10 or more tags. The settings are set to allow as many as 100+ tags, but that has no affect.

Can you take a look and see why it’s not working? I imagine the upgrade fixes this, but upgrading Joomla I’d not an option now. I don’t know when it stopped storing tags, it might have occurred when we upgraded easyblog to 5.0.4 but I don’t know for sure.

How can I fix this?
