Hi,

As some of the members reported, the filter widget is not visible in wanderers. switching to another template solves the problem.

Website details attached
Hi muhanad,

I am not sure what you mean. I seem can't replicate this issue on your site. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/8nSp0zdAJ . Perhaps you can provide us with the user who hit this issue so that we can further assist you on this.

Please advise.

Hello Muhanad,

Wanderers is a special template which we designed and we actually scrapped some of the internal features in EasySocial to ensure that we have a much cleaner and leaner layout. This is actually one of the reason why the filters aren't appearing on Wanderers as well

Hi Mark,

How are you?

it is special but i believe since some of us wanna use the filter, there should be an option in template backend to either display it or not. Don't you think?

Hi Muhanad,

I am sorry, as I unable to assist you with this customization because our hands are pretty tied to our existing development right now. By the way, if this a priority, please do post them on our sales section at https://crm.stackideas.com and our sales department would get back to you with a proper quote.

Thanks and please understand.

Hi Mohd,

I have to disagree here and I really think this is not a feature or request we should pay for. Forcing an important element from easysocial such as filters to be hidden in wanderers is not a feature. it could be a feature if you give us the option to enable/disable but now wanderers is killing some features! why building those features if you think that they are not so important. hiding it to make the template as light as possible is just not a great solution!

my two cents

Hi Muhanad,

I am sorry for the delayed reply.
Wanderers was built with our vision in mind by simplifying and removing certain elements which we feel causes clutters on the layout. It's something which we have been experimenting with and of course, if you dislike the layout, you can always modify or customize it since the overriden theme files are all provided as it is.

Please do understand that Wanderers template is a free template and we do not provide support for Wanderers template. If you're still want this customization, can you create a ticket at https://crm.stackideas.com and we will assist you from there. Hope you can understand.

Thanks and please advise.

Hi Mohd,

Thanks for getting back to me. I totally disagree with your approach. Stackidea team can't decide by themselves which features to take off trying to make it lighter. If you do, you needed to have an option for backend to enable/disable.

I do understand its a free template, but with this approach how many users are going to actually benefit from it? looking at the forum, i see no real interaction which is a shame since we were all excited to have a template like this.

Anyways, I'm sure this can be done easily, and since I'm going to hire someone to edit the template and have some changes to it, i will share the changes i make to it with other users maybe we can actually help making it a real
