Hello. I don't understand how does work "Filter Timeline: Pinned Items".
When SuperUser pin item in stream, it always display at the top of dashboard (for all users). So there is no reason to use "Filter Timeline: Pinned Items" to view SuperUser's pinned items because it's allready at the top of dashboard timeline.

But when regular member pin items in his profile's timeline and somebody use "Filter Timeline: Pinned Items", he doesn't see another user's pinned items.

I expected to see all pinned items when "Filter Timeline: Pinned Items" is enabled (all from all site).

When regular member use "Filter Timeline: Pinned Items" he see only his pinned items. But he allready see it in his profile. So, it a little bit useless to use "Filter Timeline: Pinned Items".

May it should work in other way or there is no need in such filter? I don't find it useful or appropriate.

Thanks.
Hey there,

But when regular member pin items in his profile's timeline and somebody use "Filter Timeline: Pinned Items", he doesn't see another user's pinned items.

This is the correct behaviour of the system. This is what it meant to be. This filtered by pinned items will display only the pinned items of the logged in user.

Thanks for the suggestion It would best if you could submit your feature request regarding this simply by creating a new ticket on the forums, and set it to "Feature Request" so everyone else on the site could vote for it as well. The team will usually prioritize features that are in popular demand during the development process of the next major release.

When user navigates to his timeline, he already see his pinned items in the top of stream. So he don’t need to use "Filter Timeline: Pinned Items" to see it again

Actually, the reason the pinned items filter showing only logged in user's items is it gives a way for the user to quickly find all his pinned items to unpinned it.

In the user profile timeline page, by right it shouldn't show all the pinned item. Imagine if a user pinned 50 of his posts, then when other user view his profile timeline page they will only see his 50 pinned items on top and need to scroll down to long to view the newest or recent posts.

From what I tested in locally, it seems that there is a bug. If I pinned 50 item, it will show all these pinned item from the user profile timeline page. So I have created a ticket regarding this, we will include a fix in next release version so it shouldn't show all the pinned item on profile timeline page.
