Hi SI Team

I am pretty sure that I had this working before but…

I want to be able to search all profiles but only look at the detailed profiles for admins.

If I go here:

http://www.finalbug.net/registered-members

the first person I see in the list is:

vidibiz

They show in the list although they are just a regular user.

So if I click on the link to their profile:

http://www.finalbug.net/my-profile-here/1396-vidibiz

Access to this profile has been restricted for privacy reasons.
You may need to log in and be a friend of this user before you can see it.

That is OK

If I click through the profiles too for eg:

estest007

I see their full profile which is OK as they are an admin.

http://www.finalbug.net/my-profile-here/972-estest007

That is OK

However as far as I can tell the filters have different rules:

i.e. : the Filters on the left hand side I see for e.g:

http://www.finalbug.net/registered-members/filter/9-fcp7-editors
http://www.finalbug.net/registered-members/filter/7-avid-editors
http://www.finalbug.net/registered-members/filter/8-fcpx-editors
http://www.finalbug.net/registered-members/filter/10-pemiere-editors
http://www.finalbug.net/registered-members/filter/13-lightworks-editors

Only Administrators show up on a list.

Take vidibiz as an eg

In his skills set he has

AVID
DVD Studio Pro
Final Cut Pro X
Premiere

etc

But does not show up in any of the filtered skills.
Probably because he is not an administrator!!!
I want him to show in the list but not be able to view his full profile when I click on him in the list when not logged in!

Does this make any sense?

best

Paul
Hi Paul,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Do you mean when you click on the "browser user" page filter, it only show administrator user result?

If yes, it actually depend on what you set the filter from your advanced search, check my screenshot below.

May i know what custom field you save as filter?

Hi Arlex

I suspect that this is also related to my other issue:

How do you get to the screen shot you posted above?

thanks

Hello Paul,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

How do you get to the screen shot you posted above?

The page as shown from the screenshot above is from the advanced search page of your easysocial. From there you can configure the search filter that will appear in the browse users page.
