Seems this is an issue
ffmpeg on Dreamhost VPS server
ffmpeg is no longer included and was replaced with libav. View the following link for further details:

I am trying to find a way to allow uploads of Audio files, just I think that I need some assistance if possible.

Just simply turned the encoder off, wonder, what is the difference?

Turn it off that encoder setting which mean that site user unable to upload audio/video on the site.

Unfortunately currently Easysocial only support FFMpeg for encoding the video/audio on the site, perhaps you can consult withyour webhosting provider again and see whether that is possible to manually install FFMpeg on your server?
