Hi, I'm using ssl throughout my site for user security. However, if a user links something in the EasySocial stream that's not ssl then horrible off putting warnings will appear in all subsequent viewers browsers when viewing the stream. See image.

We would all like to attract users, and not frighten them away. I don't really want to turn https off on the stream page, so how can this situation be avoided or at least worked around in EasySocial links?

Cheers!
The only way i can think of is use Admin tool component on your site, it will make sure all of your site content which contain http without https, it will convert it to use https protocol.

If I recall correctly this Admin tool component have a setting to allow admin to enable this feature, if you would like to use this component, you have to consult with their developer regarding this whether this feature still available or not.

Hi Arlex, Thanks for the Admin Tools tip. As always, I appreciate your courteous and professional help.

I've actually downloaded it and started to read the accompanying documentation. The extension is quite versatile and comes with what would appear to be a steep learning curve. I guess that's why the software is free but you have to pay for support
Anyhow, I'll battle on and see if it helps this issue.

May I ask, is there anyway to have EasySocial links open in a new window or tab? At the moment links directs users away from the site which is a community website managers nightmare

Cheers!
